Yes, 17.5" wheels are period correct for 1968. You can get the period correct 8-17.5 mud and snow tires at STA (speciality tires of america)http://www.stausaonline.com/light-tr...r-traxion.html

Nice truck! I'm curious if this has ram assist power steering? A few 68's did from what I've read. Good info on the 17.5's also in this thread.
