picked up a used intake $50. for the 79-305
Canada Day for us had the top off the 78 truck most of the weekend
changed back to the factory mirrors on the 78 sold the burb ones i had on it
relaxed on the deck

I just picked up a 82 short bed with a 250 6 in it. In the process of making it my driver. Cleaned it and detailed it. Did a tune up and a few other little odds and ends. Been a while since I had a square can't wait to get it dropped and just drive it.

Thanks guys, ya the woodgrain was looking old/faded/scratched so I did everything black and I really like it.

hood needs a little work but it was cheap and i would rather have the gmc grill but owell for now

Looks nice, in my opinion you should leave the Chevy grille on, I think they look better than the GMC ones.

thanks and im starting to think i prefer the chevy one because the outer trim on the gmc i dont like.

I got my truck back together enough to tow my scout up to PA to wheel at rausch creek. nothing like putting something back together and driving it 1500 miles towing something!

still got alot of work to do for it to be done, but at least its useable again!

That looks awesome. Where did you get the dash at? I've read a couple horror stories on buying them front the wrong places. Also is the instrument bezel cover from LMC? It looks good.

Thanks, The dash pad is original GM with no cracks and the dash gauge bezel is a GM NOS right out of the box
