Is there a way to tell how much my truck is lifted?

I have some information to add to the puzzle. I was changing the drag link on my truck this past weekend and I found the numbers 11211 on the top of the front driver's side leaf spring. Does that shed any light on this?

I think I might have found it. I believe that all of the people that guessed 2.5" lift were correct. From what I could find on the internet it appears that THIS is the kit that my truck has.

Now that I am pretty sure my lift is only 2.5", how in the world do the guys with 6" lifts and large tires get into their trucks?

i had no problems getting in mine (38.5" swamps), grab the windshield pillar & pull myself in. wife-'nother story. 2 words, door pins! wimped out last year & let her buy me steps for xmas. after almost a year, i will concede it's a lot easier on the old bones

quite simple to change, pull off the c-clip & out they come. they just dont like it when someone is using the door to climb in. they wear where they go threw the hinge & next thing you know your door is dropping

Cool. Many of my friends have trucks with 4 inch lifts and they look slightly bigger than yours. It is always hard to tell how big of a lift a truck has, so right on for finding part numbers! haha.

With my 86 with a 6 inch lift, i had to get a running start and jump LOL. i HATED it when my friends used the doors to pull themselves in. I was like, 'DUDE, you're sagging my door!'
I also literally carried a step stool in the bed of the truck for my girlfriend to get in. She is 5'2" and the floor pans were above her waist LOL.
Here is my 86 with a 6 inch lift when I had 35 inch tires on it. I sold it last July:

bomankid what brand of lift was the 6" and how did it ride?

Skyjacker brand, springs front and back. No blocks. It rides like a tank. when i go off road it throws me around pretty good when i go fast. I'm used to the stiff suspension, all my trucks are lifted 3/4 tons.
