Re: Mexican Blanket Dash Pad Re-do
I just got done recovering my bench seat with 2 mexican falsa blankets, from mexicanblankets.com of all places lol, but I paid 25.98 for the 2, over 25 at that site gets free shipping
anyway I went to home depot and bought a set of hog ring pliers & hog rings for chain link fence & tension wire, used them to keep the blankets nice and tight, used 1 blanket for the top half of the seat and another for the bottom, rather than having a loose single blanket that moves around.. here's a pic, haven't put it in the truck yet alex, I love the idea of the mexican blanket dash pad tho I may cut up a 3rd blanket and make a pad out of it to match

Re: Mexican Blanket Dash Pad Re-do
I recommend getting 2 of them for an even covering & allowing plenty of room to tie it down.. the 2 i used on my seat were 74" x 50" and that was perfect for 2 halves of a bench seat

Re: Mexican Blanket Dash Pad Re-do
I got away with one on mine but it was close. Used zip ties to hold it all in place. Had to cut slits for the seatbelts. Oh we'll it was only $15. This is a pic of it on my 78 but it applies to 67-72 as well. They sure look cool hey.

Re: Mexican Blanket Dash Pad Re-do
I have that same blanket for a curtain in my bedroom, only way to block enough daylight so I can sleep. I work nights.
