I'm the second Owner, the dude just drove it! He did say it was lowered in California in the late 80's but there are no signs of it.

Here's mine, original paint still intact, 70k original miles. Actually bought it up in your neck of the woods (Battle Ground, Washington)

Way I see it, it's lasted 34 years just fine and still looks good, it will last another 34 years in my posession since I seldom use it, and by then I won't be needing it anymore.
