So what did you use for compressor? looks as though the same year condenser would work 87 . I'm with you on saving a $1k bills over getting some used stuff to make work from a donor

I have a 98 carbed vortec 5.7 I'm using that year compressor. I got a manifold adapter ordered. Now I have to get box built this weekend and set condenser. I'm going with a 87 also. then I'm going to have hoses made.
