Anyone ever seen this seat?

Yeah,I believe you are right on that. I've seen a whole lot of these trucks through the years,and I'm sure you have too. But,either I just never paid such close attention till more recent years or I have flat out never seen a GMC with plaid seat. My first truck was a '72 SWB I bought off the OK Used Cars lot in '73. All I knew is it was all yellow (ochre) with a white (parchment) interior,plaid on the seats,402,and 3 0n the tree. I thought the plaid was kinda different and don't recall seeing other trucks with it,but I wasn't really looking either. Didn't know how the trim levels worked,which was higher/lower or what came with what. In recent years I now know I had a Highlander and it was fairly unusual with solid paint,manual trans,and no tilt. I don't even remember if it had A/C. I have seen Highlanders with solid paint and with manual transmission. This seems odd,since the whole deal with the Highlander pkg was special pricing on a group of options. So,why order one and delete some options? To get a plaid seat? I don't know,but maybe my truck wasn't a Highlander at all and just a Custom Deluxe ordered with plaid seats
