Re: How to get headlights brighter?
I use the aftermarket vw h4 housings for a early vw they have crappy wiring to start so it's no strain on a stock truck wiring I've had them for three years they are 36.00 a pair locally here with bulbs. Or speedway has them in their catalog for 100.00 let me know if your interested and I'll take some pics for you

Re: How to get headlights brighter?
Thanks guys. It looks like I've got a lot of work ahead of me when I get back to Kansas. Not only do I want to get the green '70 safer, but I also need to continue working on my grandfather's blue '70. I've got the engine, trans, and the entire electrical system to work on. I will continue to update you all on the progress I make on it.
Thanks again and have a Happy New Year!!!!!

Re: How to get headlights brighter?
I need to do the mod and adjust the headlights. My front springs sag a bit but I like it that way. I ask all the shops if they have a headlight aimer but have had no luck. Some Cibie or Hellas sometime as well.

Re: How to get headlights brighter?
You can align them yourself, just takes time at night, a garage door or a wall and a screwdriver.
