Well, I almost sold it today. Next Monday "Cyclops" going to the body shop across the street, the guy who runs the shop has a light hand and says he can remove most of the primer and not disturb the patina....(too much) with paint stripper, then later in the week my cousin "Richie the G." is on vacation so we're going to play with it and try to fire it up. (cross your fingers)

Re: The Cyclops!!! 65' SWB BBW

Cyclops almost got sold again yesterday!!!! But, today I went to a auto swapmeet in the little town of Selma Ca. (raisin capital of the world) and got re-motivated on the truck, scoring on a automatic column for 20 bucks, a nice deluxe steering wheel for $60., a DMV cleared set of Ca license plates for $65., automatic linkage for 3 bucks, a alternator bracket for nothin and 23 Chevy dog dish hubcaps for a bucks a piece!!!!!
My name is Rene and I am a sweepmeet junkie!!!!

MAN, WHAT A SCORE!!!

$65 for pair of DMV-cleared black plates for a truck is a killer deal!!

Gotta ask.......You got Jedi powers? Going to a swap meet with you would be like going with Obi Wan Kenobi. You probably wave your hand and tell the seller what the price is!

Nice find. Up here in Maine, stuff like that is pretty much non existent. Seems like the mid west area has many more finds like that. Thanks for posting.

I had my eye open, if I can find a 63' aluminum grill it will go on the Cyclops, along with some chrome bumpers I already have.
