You mean the drivers side, right? Yours actually makes mine look halfway decent, but it's still not great. I'll check tomorrow and see how it is and send you a pic. Some of the damage in the front of my cab is the reason why I decided to get a different cab. The back half of my cab is pretty solid.

I just looked at your post and checked out your thread - you're in Australia? And you want something shipped? Wow.

As of right now, all of the ones listed. I have not heard back from chubinit yet as to whether he is still interested in the floor pan and inner rocker. It has taken me a while to get back to him on the shipping costs because I am having trouble packing it as it is an odd size. I am hoping to have it packed up this weekend so I can calculate shipping.

Not a problem. Here are the pics. As I said, it's in better shape than yours, but that's not saying much. It needs work.

do you need me to take pics of the inside as well? (I'll probably just do it a little later anyway). I realized you asked about the kick panels and air vents, and I am actually showing you the cowl panel.

Thanks for the effort mate, but I think I'll pass.

For the cost and time of buying the piece and having it shipped, I really need it to be mint and requiring no work.

Thanks again for the effort. Hope I didn't waste your time.

Not a problem at all. All I did was take a couple of pics. I figured you would want a solid piece. You can buy the cowl panel replacement piece new. That might be your best shot.

They are not cheap, but it might be easier than finding a piece off an existing truck.

Hey Jess, I taped off the section I plan to cut for you. Let me know if this works. My intent is too cut on the inside edge of the tape.

68bowtie, Here is a pic of what I plan to cut for you. I measured 59-1/2" for the window, and 29-3/4" as the center. My center mark is actually at 29-1/2", but I went 13" out to compensate, and will probably cut a bit outside that as well. Let me know if this works for you.

You can see my markings just above the blue tape. The end pieces say 13" and the center marking is in the middle.

Re: Cutting up old Cab / Extra parts

That looks great DD1. I finally got the camper down to my house now after getting fuel in it and getting it fired up. It will be much easier to work on it now.

Thanks,

Doug

Great! I need a little time on yours... I have to remove the cab from the frame so I can drill out the spot welds in the back for you. As you might be able to tell from the pics, space is not something I have a lot of. I'll try and figure something out on Monday.

Good timing! I was about to start cutting the top off the cab so I can get to the back of the cab for Doug. I would probably have cut right through the piece you want.

Here is a pic of the passenger side for that section of my cab. If you can draw a line, whether on Photoshop or on the cab itself (with a marker or tape) of where I should cut, that would help.

Let me know if you are interested and exactly where to cut, and we will work something out.

My friend came by to help me cut the roof off. I think I did it low enough to get you what you need. Here is the roof laying on a couple of saw horses. I flipped the images to put them in perspective.

I marked the area where I intend to cut. I am assuming you want the inside skin and not the outer roof area. Let me know if this works

By the way, that black stuff in the photo is not rust, it's leftover door liner rubber. The piece you want is in pretty nice shape.

Thanks!

Doug, I am very close to cutting your part out. I have removed the roof of the cab. Next I will cut the bottom part in half and remove the front. Then I can move the back half and get access to the spot welds.
