No, like I said the flap covers the piece of factory trim thats in the chryslers and gives a nice uniform look. Its a course harder rubber so if it went to the outside your truck would be full of water next time it rains.

Like Webb mentioned, a lot of the drivers side ones are torn on the latch side and/or the bottom and you can't see it unless you put your fingers under the outside edge and pull out on it. Nice I am all about this mod. Time to hit the salvage yards. I was thinking about ordering all new seals for all the windows and doors for after I get my body work done!

Get two full sets so you can cut one in half and use it on the 3rd door.
