Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Cool, thanks. I had plans of just upgrading the stock stuff up front, but by the time you add up brakes/control arms/steering box/sways/etc. it gets close to the price of a bolt in setup like the no limits wide kit. I am still on the fence on what to do there.
Making quick progress, I will be on the lookout for wheel pics. |

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Got some work done before the rain hot today. I got my chassis finished welded up sanded down and painted.
Saturday I cleaned up the shop a bit then started the front ridetech assembly. Wanted to hang the rotors but I needed some spindle nuts. I also made some new coil brackets . The others I made were a little to big to fit where I needed them to mount. Left side is the new one. |

Nice build, can't wait to see what you chose for wheels. What color are you planning on going with.

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Nice! I didnt know they made those with a brushed lip. Are they 18x10 like you had mentioned earlier? I had though about getting the Eagle 227 wheel and brushing the lips myself to knock down some of the shine.

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Also, It looks like you have 6 inch springs and a block out back? Hoping I can get that low in the rear with coilovers.

Also got my coil packs mounted. There on the cab you can see them below the steering column. The motor is also completed wired in the pictures.

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Sweet build- I'm building a 66 and using the same Ridetech setup front and rear.
How are you going to mount a stud on the throttle body to hold down the filter lid? Awesome idea I didn't want to pay MAST $400 for their setup either. Thanks

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
I love the way you mounted the throttle body, old school look with fuel injection.

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Wanted something different than just a stock plastic ls intake especially the truck ones.

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Great build!
The end goal looks awfully familiar, our paths to get there are just a little different. What do you plan for your tire size and ride height? Take care, Shane

Re: 69 pro touring/ autocross.
Thanks ! I'm not sure about tire size yet because I'm not exactly sure of ride height. I'm not one for a extremely short sidewall but I know to tall will just roll in hard turns. I'm kinda thinking 285-40-18 on the rear.
