Re: Help me figure it out
Nice-looking ride. And either Pontiac engine, 400 or 350, is a great one to have in your sharp '62. I lived via a used car lot, and the worst problem I found from the 400 or the 350 was they were capable of clocking up too many miles before the customer needed to trade again! A fact!

Re: Help me figure it out
You have a 74 350 Pontiac originally a 2 barrel engine.
This site will help ID Pontiac engines http://www.wallaceracing.com/engine1.htm That's a pretty nice truck, I would imagine it runs pretty good. I'm going to put in a 400 Pontiac in my 61 project, but that's a ways off yet. Good luck, Bud |

Re: Help me figure it out
Thanks very much EVERYONE perfect timing. my investigation with all your guys help came up with just that. looks like a 1974 Pontiac 350 with what could be a 1977 intake to change it over to a 4 bbl. i was also told they bored it out to a 400 ,finding that out is another can of worms. but one quick question is the TH400 tranny a 3 speed or ?
