Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

How much for the parchment door panels shipped? Also how bad is the chalking on them?

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

Sorry it took me a couple of days to get back to you. Here are some pics. The grain is worn in some places. I can supply the best trims rings I have to go with them for $120 shipped.

I only need the panels. My old trim rings will work.

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

I have several metal panels. I will look through them and see if I have a single driver's panel.

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

I do have one driver' panel that is in pretty good shape. It has light surface rust that can be sanded off but needs a bit of hammer and dolly work towards the rear of the door to be straight. Because of weight and size its $40 shipped.

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

Thanks, but respectfully decline your offer. Understand the shipping cost and appreciate your efforts to assist. Simply can't justify the cost. Hopefully, I can find one a little closer. Any Okies out there have one?

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

Believe me, I understand. Some parts have a catch 22 involved between worth and cost of shipping. If you want to counter-offer I can see if I can do something about reducing the cost of shipping.

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

Nick,
Again, many thx. Don't have a compelling need as the door panel is the last thing that needs to go back on. At a swap meet last Nov, I stumbled across the proverbial "lone door panel" among a pile of stuff and got it for $5. Bought it simply because it's always good to have extra stuff laying around, unfortunately it was pass side. Hopefully, I'll find the driver side that way. I put a WTB ad out for local (OK) responses. We'll see how that turns out. Remember, the hunt is the fun part!!!

Re: Door Panels, Woodgrain Inserts and Trim.

I got ya. I plan to do the same thing with my panels before Spring but I need to do other stuff first. I'm buying repops so I can be sure they are straight with no surprises. Happy Hunting!
