That's a nice set Chad. If you want to recover them, you can contact member TruckSeats on the board and I'm sure they can get two tone covers. They do "custom originals" with houndstooth, so this shouldn't be a real challenge. 69 buckets (except for black and white) would have come two-tone, so no one should give you grief about it on the basis of originality. Truck World makes the seat covers that TruckSeats sells. They take a long time, but the quality is very good.

Not all '69s were 2-tone. I guess black is black.

Jim I have those same accessory buckle holders for the same purpose. Haven’t installed them yet.

Nice looking seats Brad. Won’t be too long before they’re installed at the pace you’re going.

Yep. Just as you said in post 26.

I'm curious about Tim's comment also. Maybe it's because there were no Cheyennes in 1969 as the thread title suggests. Not sure that relates to post 26 though.

You probably know that the factory assembly manual shows the exact locations of the buckle holders on the console. It appears that the holders for the console were included with option A50 (buckets and console) rather than an "accessory" if shoulder belts were also ordered as an option.

Re: Two-Tone '69 Cheyenne Bucket Seats?

I did not know this and it’s curious that we don’t see more consoles with these in place. Thank you for posting these. I wonder if the buckle holders were painted to match or left black? I plan to add these when I get around to bolting the shoulder belts into place for my blazer.

I swear when I originally posted it said mine was post #26... sorry.

Those buckle holders also came attached to the inner side of buckets in Blazers. The console came with CST buckets, but the optional bucket seats available in standard Blazers came with no console, same as standard seats (utilities). The utility seats had the holders, too.

Re: Two-Tone '69 Cheyenne Bucket Seats?

The problem with the buckle holders is that the buckles rattle terribly when mounted on the holders. They are quiet only if both are in use. If I recall correctly, I found mine in a '69 Olds Cutlass mounted at the base of the seats.
