Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10
LOL.......I know it. Life is a coincidence at times. Sorry for any inconvenience. Anyway, as I look at my bezel nut, I'm going to throw you another curve (unintentionally, of course). My antenna is a fixed mast and guess what? The bezel nut is like what you show for telescoping (see image).............Can't guarantee it's original, but if I had to bet it is.......Thoughts? Are the bezels and grommets the same for both types? Edit: About that "extra NOS stationary mast nuts", if that's what's attached to that antenna you're showing, seems mine is different. I may have to pull it off the shelf, take an image.

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10
Mel, once 71CHEVYSHORTBED402 decides on which style he needs and if you are offering the antenna parts to anyone else, I will take a bezel, nut, gasket and mast. All items would be for a fixed mast assembly.
Thank you, Ray

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10
Hi Mel: I'm in for the "telescoping" set-up, otherwise known as the high crown nut. As for why my fixed mast has this type, I'm going to declare it a mystery pending research and/or I take apart my antenna. On a side note, the method for which my fixed mast attaches to the mount is not like your fourth image. I don't have it handy, but if I recall, my mast has a short threaded (male) end that's just part of the mast (i.e., one piece). I suspect my antenna is an example for factory "use what you've got". Please PM your Paypal and $, and I'll pay promptly. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you.

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10
BTW, here's the bottom of my stationary mast. Screws into the female end surrounded by plastic. Nothing else to it. Is it original? Heck I don't know. So far everything else has been, less common replacements. I'm the 2nd owner, bought it in 1989:

I believe that's strike three. Thanks Mel.
