WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10

1. Not sure it makes difference, but my antenna has a fixed mast. OEM and mint, please.

2. OEM glove box door, flawless metal. Light scratches and surface rust are fine, it's going to be refinished anyway. Doesn't need to have a button or swing arm. FOUND

3. NOS 8-400 emblems........Mint condition FOUND

4. NOS Custom/10 emblems........Mint condition FOUND

5. NOS Deluxe emblems........Mint condition FOUND

I just got some glove boxes in a parts haul that are in really nice shape. Also have some oem 8/400's but need to double check condition. I'll have some time tomorrow night to post up some pics.

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10

Here is what I have. This 68 was one of the first I picked out of the pile. Pretty darn nice shape. Let's say $30 shipped and this door can go live a nice life instead of a lonely cardboard box.

The 400 emblems aren't by any means flawless, but decent shape for oem, minimal pitting and minor scratches. $25 shipped for the best pair I have out of the 3 or all 3 for $30 shipped

Top of least pitted emblem

Bottom of most pitted emblem

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10

I believe there are two door varieties. Don't recall what year of separation, but the door I'm looking for is 21 11/16 at the widest point, and looks like the one in this image, which is going to "be retired". I believe the one you posted Curt is different. At least so on the ridge above the door lock.

Yeah, the pic does look different. I think it was the angle of the dangle. Took a straight on pic and measurement. Interesting, didn't know there is two different styles maybe years?

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10

Yes, there are two. Ebay shows the other, which is more square. The angle did throw me, as did above the lock, which looked different or possibly damaged. At any rate Curt, if that door is straight I'll take it, please PM. Perhaps you take Paypal?

Thank you.

Interested.

Just an observation, I cannot locate antenna parts for light Chevy in GM's 1979 parts book. You can however locate them for medium trucks, and at least some of the parts match-up to some passenger cars. Dollars to donuts the light trucks use the same parts as the mediums.

I'm interested in the medium blue glove box door that is on the bottom of the box against the side. Pending pics if its 30.00 shipped I'll take it. Will give you a US address for shipping.

Re: WTB antenna bezel nut, glove box door and emblems for 1971 C-10

Hi Tony, got your pm this evening just haven't had time to post a reply back yet, then just came across this thread. Per your WTB thread, we would have the NOS Custom/10 fender emblems and the matching NOS Deluxe fender emblems available/on hand and ready to ship out. Would need to check on the requested antenna parts but we do have some real deal GM NOS antenna parts and pieces stashed away. Per your first question/reply in this thread, there were two different styles of antenna mast nuts, both have the same thread size and pitch but one is a high crown nut (telescopic mast) and the other is a low crown nut for fixed mast. I will go have a look now, Mel.

Coincidentally Mel, I bumped this due to another one of your posts concerning emblems. Looking forward to seeing what you've got. Thank you

Well Mel, maybe someone else is in the market, because earlier today I picked up some emblems I couldn't refuse. Your effort is appreciated. I'm still in the market for a like new OEM bezel nut, and/or the entire antenna mounting unit.

*Relisting/offering in a parts board FS thread 03/06/16*
Here are the NOS antenna parts, the complete NOS antenna setup is not for sale, am only showing it as a reference to confirm the type of antenna body that these other NOS small parts fit. Note the side by side comparison shot showing the two styles of antenna nuts that were used, as I had mentioned above the high crown nut is for the telescopic mast and the shorter style one is for the stationary/fixed mast setup. The parts being offered here are (TWO) NOS staionary mast antenna nut, antenna bezel and antenna bezel to cowl gasket setups @ $75. for each 3 pc. setup. Forgot to add them into the pictures, but we also have a couple of extra NOS stationary mast nuts available @ $15. ea., this is the small nut (pictured) that secures the mast onto the antenna body.Let me know, Mel.

So, with both of your WTB threads being up here on the parts board for a couple of months now w/o any replies on the requested NOS emblems, you find them on the same day that I finally get your awaited emblem pictures up ? Well I guess now that the combined shipping part is out, your requested NOS antenna parts just went up in value ! Mel

just kidding on that last comment...
