Re: Someone will be getting a heck of a truck!!

I like it, but for me it's not clean enough that I wouldn't want to restore it. Is there a bit of rust at the top of the A-pillars and gutters?

Not sure the door mirrors are original. The passenger side is a center mount and driver is off center mount. I thought 67 up were all center mount.

For the record this was a no sale at $18200 so nobody got a deal.

You bet there are plenty of shill bidders on eBay. These trucks often sell and then are relisted immediately or within a very short period. I've personally been involved in bidding and have no doubt that these guys are running the bids up artificially in many cases. eBay doesn't seem to care one bit either.

The automatic bidding doesn't help..
The owner now have buddies or themselves.. bump up the bids..
instead of listing it with a reserve ..
If their bid is the last bid.. that account goes cold.. and they'll open another with another gmail email..
and repost claiming a non-paying bidder..

^or in this case, have your buddies get it right under the reserve and see what happens, no one gets penalized if the reserve isn't met.

Did you guys see the other truck he has for sale? Seriously, this thing is SICK!

I freak'in love it. I think the price is already too high, especially for what looks to be a cobbled together subframe hack (for the price I would expect a fatman frame, or at least a full modified S10 chassis), but still, with the LS, if someone gave it to me I would drive the piss out of it.
