there is no heat light on my 1970 c10 the gauge wire was attached to the right rear sending unit when purchased the heads are oversized I believe my problem came from a faulty sending unit because pressure cap never released regardless of gauge reading lets move on

As zosoppp already stated and what I was alluding to, there are no right or left heads. Just a singular head that is used on both sides of the engine.

They're known for coming apart and causing serious damage in the engine bay
