Sorry to double post but I can not edit my previous so here is a question.

Is the bar 1-1/16" diameter? Those are the bushing kits I could find for '72 C20 or C30's.

Hi, I measured the sway bar with a set of dial indicators, It measured 1.100(1/16 is .062)(1/8 is .125) I hope this helps Thanks Dwayne

Hi, Did some digging. My bar is 1 3/32 Diameter (Rock Auto Listing) So As far as I know the Trucks came with 3 different front sway bars 1 1/16=1.0625,1 3/32=1.0938 1 1/8=1.1250 Thanks Dwayne

I would think that is a better route, I would sell the ring and pinion, with tearing that apart I would want a total of $50.00 plus shipping I am working on

72 only clamshells are for big blocks only? I think the small block towers are all the same through the years.
