Another "Old guy" thing. If you get stuck with a non-posi rear. With the one wheel spinning modulating the E-brake can help transfer power to the non-spinning wheel.

i will say this , I had an 74 nova with 4 wheel drums, and once i was hauling ass and hit the brakes and the front right drum busted on me, the only thing that saved my ass was the e brake.
