Re: project 62
DUDE THAT SUCKS!
I guess it's good that you didn't have to call it in to your insurance company but what a drag man!!!!! I don't know how bad the damage is but would you be better off putting the truck you just bought back together? See, dude, this is why I don't like to lower em!!! Raise them sum*****es up and just go over the top!!!!!! Last edited by highperf4x4; 07-07-2009 at 01:15 AM. |

Re: project 62
Yeah im really tossing that up, i really like the looks of them. Anyone know a good place to get parts for that? I looked on ebay lastnight but it seems to be full of the kind of idiots that have a price of say, $60 and the shipping charge of $85 on just a headlight.. I was a reporting fool lastnight

Re: project 62
I'll talk to a friend of mine that rebuilds wrecked cars and stuff, and see where he gets some of his stuff. I know certi-fit has some stuff, but with doing the whole front end it may get kind of pricey. I'll let ya know.

Re: project 62
watch pull-a-part they get the 88-98's from time to time
the escalade front end parts are spendy....you might check those jack-asses south of 89th on shields... oh have you seen the rover styled front ends for these? I think they are pretty slick...i'll look for a link http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as...tfamilyid=6439 over $400 but it comes complete with light and is bolt on you could do chrome or paint to match your truck

Re: project 62
Those are pretty cool. I don't care much for the one that is on the truck, but the blacked one is cool. I think the one in the pic has too much reflection in the headlight. Would be different though.
The other day when I was at Pull-A-Part they didn't have many 88-98 trucks there that had anything good on them. I'm going to try and go up there first thing Saturday Morning, I'll look again and see if there is anything new. Travis the thing is I know everybody, but they just don't seem to know me. |

Re: project 62
OK I found the front end for you. For $4,719.99 you can have the front clip
Or for $6,294.99 you could do the whole truck. I talked to my friend, and he said he would try certi-fit, or a place called New World International. I couldn't find a website for New World, but there is a place off Ann Arbor in OKC that I think he is talking about. They must be like Certi-Fit. He didn't know anywhere else besides like Stylin' Trucks that had kits. So I guess the hunt is on, well unless you just want to go with the kits I mentioned above.
