My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Today, I finally took the time to actually put the cab on the rotissary. (Been sitting beside the rotissary for over a month--every morning I look and sure enough - no elves showed up over nite to put it On the rig.

Now I can quit working on the top side and flip it to finish up the bottom. I just doubled my work load----now I can work the chassis and the cab!!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

More than one day, but I finally got all the original suspension & brake stuff off and replaced it with all new or rebuilt pieces.

McGaughy 13" Disk Brake kits F&R, new stainless brake hardlines and softlines (Inlinetube.com), CPP 4 wheel disc M/C & P/V, '76 upper & lower control arms with Moog bushings & ball joints, '76 steering parts (all new Moog pieces), Ground Force 1" drop front drop coil springs.

Rear is a built '88 12 bolt with an Auburn diff, 3.42's, new bearing/seals etc, and machined axles (to fit the McGaughy brake rotor hat), ECE rear shock relocation kit (thanks CC69Rat), and CPP rear deluxe bent panhard bar and rear drop coils, Total drop is 3.5" in the front and 4" in the rear. I didn't want it to be crazy low because I'm gonna use it a good bit. The wheels are 1st Gen Boss 338's...Front's=18x8" with 255/50r18 Toyo ST's, Rear's=18x9.5" 295/45r18 Toyo ST's.

That is neat. I don't think I have ever seen a rear window setup like that.

Me and another forum member had them made, this is the 1st one the company has ever made for our trucks , I need to talk to the owner on Monday and tell him what I think of it and the design. He may want to change a few things but that will be up to him. I didn't want a slider rear windshield nor would I hack up my truck to install a powers sliding glass like some old vehicles have .. I'm surprised of the response I've gotten so far about the window hopefully we will see more of them thanks
