Had some time to paint my column glove box and ash tray, the old school cheech and chong steering wheel worked great for a stand lol

Re: My 1959 apache project

Spent last night and this ironing going back through your entire thread - truly amazing what you've done, how fast you work (and spend! Lol) and now frickin NIIIICE the results are. Huge congrats.

Much more important is your little boy is healthy now, excellent!

Are you a painter/body man by trade or do you just "play" one on the Internet? Cause you do nice work. Any/all info on the material brands you use, grits, etc would be helpful to us that have nowhere near the experience you've obviously got. My M.O. with well, everything is to jump in over my head and swim out. I have always figured it out so far but any tools, materials, tricks or tips is super helpful.

Can't wait to see the rest. Best, Dan.

Thank you Dan! I took a painting class once when I was about 18 years old at a local college I don't do it for a living because I wouldn't work on my own stuff haha. I work at a Honda dealership as a service writer but I really enjoy working on stuff for family and myself. as for materials I use rage fillers, 5 star xtreme high build primer (black) 3 m sand paper paint wise I use lower end ppg which is shopline I really like DuPont clear but has gotten very expensive so on this im using shopline as well. I really don't enter my cars in car shows I enjoy driving my classic cars a lot more then showing them. For the amount of tools I own the jobs come out pretty nice considering its all garage built.
