WHOA!!! Honda huh? that got my hopes up for something like a 2010 camaro.. im not worried about the name. Any ways not my style , but its sharp and clean you got your self a deal
Yeah the 67 is going to be sweet when my buddy finishes it!

Yep sometimes something just gets under you and you got for it and do all the work you can in 1 day then call it quits, kick back relax and do something the next day

Yeah well I really wanted another truck but it just wasn't in the budget man. Truth be told if it would of been a sports car it would of been a vette sorry but I don't like the camaro's much. The thing about my accord is its clean, simple, and has a sharp look to it plus great fuel economy can you ask for much more?

The vette is probably going to be my "mid-life crisis" but man Honda is a great company and like I said I couldn't pass the deal up, I'm not sure what just your beliefs are or anyone that follows me on this build but the deal was a God deal 100% don't worry I still have my big American loud beast!

Yeah I like the name quicksilver but it does belong to you and your truck so I have officially decided she's named liquid metal!

Named her quicksilver eh?! it's a honda, so the name theft is completely acceptable!

I still haven't found a name for my truck yet... Seems like one of the first things I should have done, but then again, I've never named any of my vehicles!

Actually I've officially named her Liquid Metal, I'm going to let chevybuilder keep quicksilver.

Yeah it's a habit of mine that before I really start driving my vehicle they get a name. I remember my cousin had a a silverado it was black and he named it The Beast, always a catchy name and then I've seen a truck that said Da Beast on it, and it was black too hm......you could name yours The Black Mamba! or The Black Beast.....idk just spit balling with things that pop into my head

It's commonly referred to around here as 'the flat black rolling trashcan' because the bed is usually full of empty beer from our endless evenings working together in the parking lot lol

My truck had the factory color 29U Midnight blue too... I went with the Kirker Black Diamond line - Bright Cobalt Blue Metallic... it's close in color, I hope it turns out looking good when sprayed...

Well being that I just bought my car plus my weekends have been pretty jammed packed with stuff that's why my truck hasn't really been touched. I'm going to try to get some done this weekend maybe some week work just depends on what's going on.

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite

I love some midnight blue, I just like how it makes it seem like the truck has 2 different personalities or 2 identities, which mine will

I'm sure whatever you pick its going to look awesome!

naphtali5725 I can't wait to see that color it sounds awesome!!

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite

I used to call the GPS "Sugarbritches", and it became a pretty good joke on a week long vacation. A couple of years ago my wife got me a new IPhone for Christmas and she put her number in as "Sugarbritches" it crakes me up when I tell my Iphone to "call Sugarbritches" LOL

And this year we went to the UP Michigan to snowmobile and the word "smelting/smelter" has become a running joke with all of us that went.

sanding sucks... what kind of sanding are you doing? blocking for final prime, or wet sanding etc. for paint prep?

I'm just doing the basic sanding it down and throwing primer on it, I'd have to do some research to do wet sanding and all that.

how are you sanding? with a sanding block or just with your hand? I assume you are sanding old paint to get ready to prime it? let's see pics

I already did some before hand sanding not too fond of it, I'm using an electric sander and correct I'm just taking off the old paint and putting primer. Here's your pics my good man

I got a late start today but I've pretty much worked at it non-stop its hot in Houston so when I take breaks it's to drink some water then right back at it

Thanks man I appreciate it!

Believe it or not I'm only using 100 grit, it's taking longer to get through the paint but it's coming over baby bottom smooth!
