Re: 4X4 Action Pix
It may not be hardcore as mudding or crawling, but it's my favorite kind of offroading. Luckily the transfer case decided to let me use 4hi that day.

Here's one of mine.
And yes those are 44" tires! And the video. I'm taking everything off the jeep and putting it into this 71 GMC. |

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
found a hole, could move about 3 feet and that was all, it took 2 more square bodies to extract me from my situation, and now I beleave it's time to lock that 14bolt FF I installed last fall lol

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
wharton state forrest in south jersey. alot of sand, and a lot of holes that just drop off. I found one that just drops off. it swallowed the front left tire whole, then it was like hittin a wall when i tried to winch er out. since my wife hgas a liftred ranger...that was of no help. had to call someone out, when he yanked me out, i heard a loud bang and thought the worste. it was just a tire... not that, thats not bad, but its the cheaper then what i was thinkin.. the price of havin fun...
I was on the fence about keepin the burban, but after seein all the ones in here, and the great ideas i got from the pics...im havin serious second thoughts!! thank you all for postin!!

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
Just got back from SlickRock Trail up Hwy 4 and I went "Snow" wheeling in July!! Ha!
At the top of the mountain we found snow drifts. Good Times and my K5 survived with only a busted passenger mirror, few dents and under rockrash everywere Burt

Looks like the truck held up great Burt!!! as always.
Makes me wish I could finish mine sooner, so I can get this wheeling itch I have, scratched hahah. And there can never be "too much throttle" haha |

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
Here are the best i have for now. Took ole buddy off road for the first time with new motor and first time in tx. Kind of hard to find any good place to go around me. We were going to go to gilmer but bro wanted to try out his new fishing pole. So we went fishing/wheeling. When i lived in colorado i went alot. Miss the the rocky mountins.

Re: 4X4 Action Pix
Since I haven't posted one in a while, here's a pic from this weekend. It's hard to get any real action shots since nobody else will get out of the warm truck and out into the rain & get muddy.
(And yes now that I've posted this I see I need a headlight)
