Thanks Heath! I knew it was some type of washer, but could not remember what else.....duh. I remember now so no pics necessary. Sure I have them somewhere in the thousands of little fasteners laying around.

Talented??? Just got lucky and found a good bodyman who could paint too. The rest of it is just sandblasting, painting, sanding, time, buyin parts and installin them.......maybe not in that order. And a few cold ones along the way to try and forget the money ya just spent. Sounds like you are going to make a quick project happen, just wait till the bug gets you and next thing ya know......show truck with a plow!!!

Juanito,

IIRC, he is using 88-91 style low-back bucket seats.

I lost your build I guess, I see you've gotten quite a bit done! Show truck, not so sure about, but nice looking plow truck, yes sir! I loved running my 82 Chevy next to all the guys with brand new 1 tons knowing that mine was paid for seasons ago and they are just working to make payments! I guess it's different when you know how to work on your own rig too. Really looking foward to seeing what people say about commercially plowing with a 40 year old truck though!

Hey in one of your pictures, I see the distributor is about 180° off, has that been fixed since you got it running, or is it that way for a special reason?

I fired mine the other day with some jumper wires and a battery on the frame rail, it sounded great with the open headers, I'm looking forward to my 40 series gobbling that hot air soon

Still and once again, nice work you're doing out there!

Thanks Heath, it is a big step from the ac'ed office to the outside. Everyone that I know that has this kind of business makes alot more than me so I figured go for it!!! Might slow my project for a month or two but in the long run it should be worth it. On a side note, Ronnie and I have been kickin around the idea of another project.......Mopar. Maybe a 70-71 Cuda or somethin cool like this.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

Some updates from this weekend.
I bent my fuel line and polished it to look chrome, came out nice! And what is that, a carb sittin on top of the motor?!?!?! Finally! Gotta love that ugly, red hei.

I finally bolted down the valve covers and cut the oil filler neck down (it will be powder coated), and put some longer studs in the manifold to bolt down the carb and have enough left to mount my air cleaner cover.

Got a cool oil filler cap.

Frankenstein! Freakin wires everywhere. We were attempting to get the oil pressure up, so I went ahead and put the plug wires on it. Got some Street Fire Wires that I will custom fit but I bought this cheap set just to crank it......but they will be returned cause they "didn't fit"....
