I appreciate that! Agreed.....the SWBs are a little stubby lookin. Maybe one day we'll see a custom that has the "just right look". Hmmmm. Ideas!

Thanks! It is slow, tryin to get customers is time consuming and does not happen very fast. I have 6 full time accounts and 1 that calls when needed. Just quoted a landscaping job for $850 and it looks like I will get it cause he called me last night and asked if I could cut his yard today.......so that will be a nice chunk of change for a days work!!!! Thanks for asking Butternut!!!

Had to go oldschool. Here are a couple of pics I have not posted before. They are from the first day I went to look at it to see if I wanted it...what was I thinking?? Never would have guessed it would turn out this way. Another one saved!

The greatest compliment is duplicating!!! One of the best ideas is putting pearl in the paint, it really makes people look twice. If you go with red put ghost blue pearl over it, and vise-versa. Blood red with blue pearl looks incredible. You can get pearl powder from Paint with Pearl.com in Denver, it's cheap and makes a huge difference in whatever color you choose. Their website shows how they look. The Chevy script is from a 55 Bel Air, you can get those from Danchuk. Stock interior is cool, it's keepin it old school which makes a statement in itself. Another key is new trim, expensive but well worth it! Mar-K is the best IMO. Spend lots of time making the body as straight as possible and you will be glad you did! Whatever you decide, take your time, take lots of pics and take time to make a great build thread!!!!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

most definately need to do vegas.not really any car or truck things going down here.,so it should be a nice time.do it during early summer or something.

ive heard some stories from my grandfather when he drove my truck.
he would drive it around the strip and everywhere during those cool summer nights.
those are great times.and im looking forward to doing the same,

keep in touch and good luck with the buiild

I guess it's different when you know how to work on your own rig too. Really looking foward to seeing what people say about commercially plowing with a 40 year old truck though!

Hey in one of your pictures, I see the distributor is about 180° off, has that been fixed since you got it running, or is it that way for a special reason?

I fired mine the other day with some jumper wires and a battery on the frame rail, it sounded great with the open headers, I'm looking forward to my 40 series gobbling that hot air soon

Still and once again, nice work you're doing out there!
Hahahaha. That's cool!! Glad you got it runnin! The distributor was 180 degrees off, good eye! It runs great! Can't wait to get it on the road. Thanks for the compliments propane!!

I guess you start to see those things after you've done it yourself a time or two

I was glad when I gave it fuel and juice to the dist and it fired like it was supposed to and just purred there right off the bat.

We were also having other issues getting it started but the dist was one of the problems, the other was wiring the starter to a remote starter......we are geniuses.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

A little something that I got done this week, and I must say, was really happy about!!!! Got the windsheild in and the parking brake installed along with the a/c switches. Maybe while things are moving slow I could take pics of rear tire clearance and stuff like that for the guys that need that info.
