Re: project 62
Well its not going as good as planned. I put the motor mounts on the frame and went to put the mock up engine in and figured out that the mounts on the engine side are not right, so i was figuring where to mount the rack and pinion and the shaft is aimed right at the frame motor mount.. looks like i will have to make them so they will clear everything and get rid of the ones i bought
Looks like the engine wont be in for the meet either but i can get some other stuff done i guess. I did figure out that i can use full length headers for a car and they will clear the ground when aired out |

Re: project 62
What mounts do you need, I have V8 mounts that were in my 64. not using them.

Re: project 62
Mock up engine is in, i found the mounts and trans mount in but needs cut on a bit to make sure there is enough room for the muffler pipe, threw in some old headers for kicks and measured to make my drive shaft this week |

Re: project 62
Thanks Joe!! EDIT-- Yeah the motor mounts in there now suck! They must have to only be used with manifolds because everything hits them.. Last edited by scotts62; 05-10-2010 at 07:40 AM. Reason: Added stuff.. |
