Ok so ever since I put on the 7" wide rear wheels, 5 lug conversion, I rub going around corners and into my driveway. I got these 1" spacers it will give me clearance and it will look better to in my opinion.

I plan to run the cups. Will make it easier and not have to drill for the fitting

Well business slowed down enough to get it apart. I wish I had the time to clean and detail like I want to but I will eventually go with tubalur arms so I just don't want to waste the effort
And yes for some reason the PO cut the bump stop pieces as well as 2 full coils of the stock front springs

Aired out might not be different if you have 2" blocks but ride height will probably be a inch or two difference. With not having a dm I want to be as low as I possibly can

Drilling the frame sucks!
I was sick of metal shavings. Ha.
I ended up using a 7/8" drill bit for the air fitting hole.

I suggest using the hat's first and see how far you get into your c-notch,... especially since you have 2" lowering blocks.

Everyone talks about "low" ride heights.
And yes,... you can drive it as low as possible.
But you will have to air up quite a bit to get the front end back into alignment.
Just depends how often you want to replace your front tires.

I'm with you about the metal shavings just had to drill a couple of rivots out the other day. As for the front alignment, could you just set your ride height then have them do the alignment for that specific height?

I had my alignment guy, (a gearhead, and good friend), align my blazer.
I told him to align it as low as possible.
He did the best he could at keeping it low,... but I would have liked a lower ride height.
That's really what a Dropmember is for.

Very well said. One reason why I used the hats was I didn't want to go through all the work of drilling the frame for the fittings and bolting the bag down. I also new at some point I would go much lower with the dropmember, just didn't realize it would be this soon When I had the bags mounted with the plates it bottomed out in my notch with the 2" lowering blocks. Now I had welded in my own notch but it was equivalent in height to cpp or porterbuilt. Also with the 2" blocks your ride height will be lower then if you didn't run the blocks with the plates. I also agree with Keith that low ride heights require a dropmember and is ultimately why I decided to just do it.

Great now you got me thinking that everything I did today was a waste Now I gonna have to bag it and THEN decide its not low enough when I knew up front that the dm was what was needed.
