Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Alrighty then. Accomplished a little during the rain the past couple of days so decided to do a little more today. Got the hood hinges on, one headlight (Outback truck parts was closed) I need a spring for the other headlight bucket, also installed the little black box, horn, condensor brackets, wiring channel on the core support. Also did the last few things on the interior in Ronnie's car, installed drop springs in the Cutlass too. He is almost done. ERRRRRRR.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Yep, it is nice. Ronnie has been a great friend, he has helped me through the whole rebuild, and I helped him. Here are a couple more pics, since he gave me my truck I would like to show his ride on here too. Thanks Ronnie!!!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Yep. Bumper issues. I tried to install the front bumper and the outside brackets are too short, but the bumper IS a 67 repop. I know the 71-72 bumpers have lights in them, therefore the outside bracket hole is further out. But in this case there are no lights on the bumper but the outside holes are too far out!?!?! Quick fix is to buy some 71-72 outer bumper brackets which I am doing in the morning. Then a update!
I did get the cowl on permanently and purchased and installed a sweet telescopic antenna. I'll get a pic of this thing fully extended, holy crap it's tall!!!! I guess it's so the old farm trucks can pick up some AM radio in the feilds!!!!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
O'Reilly had em for $16 and $14. Any parts house should be able to get them for ya. And yeah, the antenna is a wind-whippin, cb-using, eyesore from hell, but when it's down it does look cool!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
I'll be putting it on next week, a little more clean-up still has to be done. I am also using the sound proofing/insulation on the bottom side of it too.
The custom interior I am talkin about isn't like a resto but like a custom rod. I am using 88-91 bucket seats and installing a console from a 71 blazer. But if any questions come to mind, just ask!!
