Hahaha People have been shooting me offers..Mainly Teachers but ive turned them all down, Ive been debating fixing or replacing all the dents and dings or just leaving her like she is body wise and focusing on everything else.

UPDATE! Yesterday i made a few calls and Scored big! I got a Complete 1971' Front Suspension with the disk! a new Primer ready to go Fender , tail lights, Tail light harness all for less then 70$

The Cross member and suspension came off a 71' C10 that a Relative Destroyed. so it was free. But only down side it doesnt have any springs in it so ill need springs to install it right.

ALSO.... Yesterday i found a rust hole in my passenger front fender...It was completley filled with Dirt and rusted pretty good all the way through. But like i said i scored a New primered rust free Fender!











Now Marks the start of the "Body Work" Phase haha

i Ordered the following parts for Christine
3.08 Rear Axle
Original Driver Bedside
Passenger Front Fender
New tail lights, Bezels ,harness
Brakes
And maybe a Passenger door.

I Plan to Install All of these by this weekend then ill Begin my venture into Body work! ill take lots of pics before and after shots as well!

MAJOR UPDATE!

hit up the salvage yards and made a few scores, And Got a TON done to Christine this weekend!

Got the new 3.08 Rear end in out of a 69-70 c10 , Rebuilt the Rear brakes the fronts i found out were Freshly rebuilt before i bought the truck new drums,springs,pad and even cylinders! also took care of the majority of wiring issues and Degreased the engine!

Scored some 15x10 Rallys to complete my set , My mother had me buy some wagon wheels with bad tires so id have a matching set and the very next stop i found both rallys and paid 30$ for both with tires! once i got home the wagon wheels went up on CL and sold that night for 60$.... i paid 40. Now the Massive amount of pics i took!!!

haha Thanks bud! As of now a thb 350 but im planning on a 700r4. im planning to run 31x10.5's and use 3/4 ton c20 springs to lift it up nice and stout! This week im working on Cleaning up the Engine bay as far as getting it Organized then Next week hopefully Body work!

Well i got a little work done this weekend, Mostley wiring and Engine Prep for paint. Also Pulled out an ol quad Manifold and cleaned it up.


Made a few new connections to replace what was left of the others

Heres an alternator connection



Labeling and marking wires and such for easy re-Assembly



The intake before cleaning and scraping with ol gas


After, Ran out of paint. Not Perfect not Special but she'll do!


Mock up to see how itll look orange... Decided next weekend ill be repainting it all Silver, Red and Flat Black! orange is a little to bright for me.



And this is a 4 bolt 350 block that tossed a rod that i gave my bud for the new paint for next weekend.

i'm usually not on this side of the forum but this truck is sick! i personally would leave as is, get the brakes, engine and suspension like new and drop her down low!

Update!

Got the New shoes on and threw some caps i had layin around on till i can find chevy caps i like. sold the Rallies last night for 200$ so now im gonna take care of some legal issues and getting 3 more steelies with new tires.

This weekend me and my Trusty lady friend are gonna clean her up and possibly take her on a cruise if i can get all the parts together.

Well weekend went alright, cleaned the truck out swept the bed out but couldn't do the cruise cause of not having a pan-hard bar. So we cruised her Kia optima hahaha(Not the Same!)
