I wish you had forged pistons...
I measured them and they measured about 13" from outside curve to outside curve (__) ..... so I think the tread is about 12" wide..... oh yea I wish I had forged pistons too... Maybe next time I'll be able to afford the all forged 427ci small block roller motor of my dreams...

Your truck looks like its going to be incredible.
I have a similar set up in mine v8 350 4.1 rear end auto trans. It's stock though. I really dig it.

Sorry everyone I have been really busy working .... I got my low mount alternator bracket made and installed .... I also got my friends cherry picker to use for a couple weeks... I know it's redneck looking but it will work....

That engine looks like it would kick my ass, btw how much did those 295 set ya back at walmart, def thinking about getting me some for my 10 inch rallies

Yesterday was a good day..... We got the engine and transmission bolted together and set in the truck.... We didn't have any snags except for one or two ... The driver side motor mount stand where the bolt goes thru was too long by about a quarter inch, and the holes for the transmission cross member didn't line up .... Which they were easy fixes.... I say all in all it was a good day....
