Re: BFG 35/12.5/16.5 available again!

Watch the Surplus tires as many are already 15 years old even if new

I did the same thing but i had a hunch this was comming as they already stopped the 16.5's once before, when they restarted production i jumped on a set of 5 for my existing rims, then i spent crazy money on a set of slots and a polish job knowing this would probably be a one shot deal, i always wanted a set of slots on this truck for over 20 years so hell with it..

And to think i wanted to buy a set of the 17" reproduction slots but they quit making tho's as not enough were sold.

I never saw 8-lug slots reproduced. No need to buy old military stock when brand new tires are available

No BFG's in 33's or 35's there.

But, I guess interco is still an option for a new tire. And as far as the military tires, as long as they aren't all dry rotted or been beat to death, I wouldn't be worried about them too much. But buying them online can make it difficicult to inspect before pirchasing them.

Yeah, I was just pointing out alternatives to military tires. From what I've heard those aren't the smoothest riding tires and the Intercos are great performers. I've run SSRs on work trucks with great results...except high miles. But that was a heavy truck, they are good off road tires, and many with older 4wds won't wear tires out before they rot anyway. Interco makes a street friendly tire for those looking for A/Ts
