It was my moms one owner spotless 96 cherokee, only had 80,000 miles on it.

We were sitting in the left hand turn lane on bangerter, which would put us turning onto 5400s westbound. We were at a red turn arrow, with straight traffic flowing....someone dozed off or was dui, to be determined...was doing 65 through the intersection and for some reason thought he'd do it through the turn lane... I was sitting a car length ahead in my gmc.

The Jeep Took All The Damage...However They Said My Gmc Stopped her from being thrown into oncoming traffic...

So Not only do I love my gmc because of what it is...but because it stopped a bad wreck from being even worse.

I have since replaced my bumper as you guys see in the picture of it in wal mart parking lot.

Not a scratch on my truck

I have a lot of small stuff. GMC emblems; to be more specific a hood and fender emblem. And lots of other small stuff. If you need something, give me a PM and I'll be happy to help.

Sorry to hear about your accident, that sucks.

I dont have fender emblems, Are they the V8 ones? I have a set of the gmc 1500 v6 ones but think that would look tacky on a 3/4 Ton v8 Truck.

Other small things I really can think of are... Dash Pad, Maybe some fitted floor mats,

OH and I need a set of door mirrors I have the small ones. I cant find replacements anywhere...a jealous x broke my drivers side mirror glass recently

And I'm looking for a nice rear chrome bumper, step or non..

Re: Project : JACK LALANNE

Yeah, it's turning nasty, but I love driving when it's slick out. There's nothing like seeing a 1-ton 4 door sideways down the road

disclaimer: Of course nobody else is within miles and I always wear my helmet and seatbelt!

haha at the top of my road there is a stop sign when you reach 5400s. Its doesn't seem steep...until your in a c/k series when its a blizzard one night just before christmas I'm stopped waiting to turn and just drifted sideways into the persons front yard...funny thing is my dad always told me his old pickup did the same thing

Re: Project : JACK LALANNE

Here it was this morning

So on my clutch issue....when it makes the howling noise clutch half way out if I give it throttle it stops, and if the truck is rolling and the clutch is half way out no howling...could a weak pressure plate cause howling? Maybe its just slipping and when I give it gas it has enough friction to grab? Is there any fluids I should check?

Re: Project : JACK LALANNE

It should just have linkage for your clutch (no fluids). Your clutch might of gotten a little hot if it doesn't go away it probably will need replacing. As far as your honda goes you might want to be careful posting it for sale on here. The site rules want you to be a site supporter to post things for sale or want to buy posts, its $25 a year to become a site supporter and well worth it in my opinion just a heads up. Any ways good luck selling your honda. BTW send me a pm I might have a mirror you can have.

Re: Project : JACK LALANNE

Ok Guys, I havent been feeling well because of my diabetes...today. If you saw my fuel pump thread you know mine went out.

Well my moms new focus had an alternator and starter go out simultaniously.

In wal mart parking lot, the worst part is someone stole money out of her purse while she was shopping.

I couldnt let my mom down so I went and sold my I touch, and changed both out in the parking lot...

....so now my adrenaline is going and I'm deciding to be a man, work through the pain and get my truck done

Also picked up a new tach... will post pictures this evening of the truck done...

Just thought I'd update you all!
