Re: I saw my trucks better twin

If I had the other truck, I'd get some bigger side walls on it, and add some color to the engine compartment. The chassis is flashier and I expected a bit more I guess. Don't get me wrong though, it's definitely first rate stuff.

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

That thing is a work of art man, not really my cup of tea just due to it being too nice for me. I like a driver, something that can be driven everyday and not affraid to scratch it.

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

Just to get an idea of what it would take to make that truck, do you know what the parts and supplies cost to get his truck where it is? I've always wondered how much these kinds of projects would cost.

The owner of the truck spent alot of money on labor as he had it built..If I remember correctly I think they said closed to 80k without counting the price of the truck. Let me tell you this thing is PERFECTION everywhere you look. I have seen it and tried to pick it apart and there was nothing I could say that was wrong, wait I think the ubolts on the rear diff were brand new and not painted which I would of painted.

Just the suspension/frame components are 6-8K easily...The engine is probably 10-12K...wheels/tires were probably 4-5K min....Add all the other goodies/paint/bodywork/labor/interior/labor/exterior trim/ labor and might I add labor his bill was probably 60-80K minimum depending on labor rates and all the other parts/any deals he found.... (good guess...)

I will have 45K worth of just parts (retail) in my build when completed and I'm not using as high end of components...and I'm doing as much labor as possible with very reasonably priced help on fab/welding/body work.

Not to hijack. But Miranda built knows how to build a vehicle. Here is dub silverado "in motion" chevelle. He had jeremie build it for him.

Wonder why Miranda doesn't just resto/resell them instead of doing it for customers?

I asked him that and he said that it is alot better for him just to do the work and get paid and not worry about trying to sale anything...
