I saw my trucks better twin

I went to fort lauderdale today with my brother in law, my sons and my newphew to see the progress in his 69 camaro being built pro touring style. He called me and asked if I wanted to come so I said ok and he said there is a surprise in there that you will love..I said to my self ok let's see as he would not tell me. Welll lord and behold we get there and i see a 71c10 the same exact color of mine. The cab is on a cart waiting to be put back on the frame, this frame is awesome, powder coated, all cpp components, some out of control rear end ( I forgat the brand) big block 608 something like that. This guys build some serious rides anyhow I took some cell phone picts and figure I would share with all of you....enjoy....

He must have seen your truck and gotten inspired. That frame and drivetrain is thoroughly modified.I bet you can count the original parts on one hand.

I agree .... the paint on the cab which was the only part of the body in there since the rest is at the other warehouse next door was an outstanding paint job which is still needs to be wet sanded and buffed...

That's a beautiful truck - I'm not sold on that style of wheels and tires for our trucks, but otherwise it's a work of art.

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

The paint on the frame looks like it is the "Hammered" finish. Looks nice. I have used spray cans of the hammered finish paint, and an oven was required to effect the finish that is on the chassis so it is not a big surprise to see that it may also be available as a powder coat. Nice touch.
