For everybody that thinks that it doesn't rain in Southern Cali here is living proof. We are thinking about putting an outboard on the truck.

Re: No Limit '72 C-10
Here we go for round #1. At the moment, it has heated springs and stock spindles. So, I'm going to swap in a set of stock Moog #6082 springs, and McGauphy's 2 1/2" drop spindles. I'm also going from the stock discs to the McGauphy 5 lug disc, which is basically a 73-87 rotor. The good news for you guys, and me, is that I'll be selling the take off spindles and rotors. Let me know if anyone is interested. The spindle, brakes and springs total $597.00. Sad thing is I can't swap out till next week after we track test, so I have a few more days of bouncing around on junk.

Re: No Limit '72 C-10
Got a great deal on the engine. It was a Craigslist find. I got the entire drivetrain for 1200 bucks. Then I sold the rear axle, radiator, a/c condensor, and K&N intake to my next door neighbor for his pre-runner for $450. Our local greaser here at the shop, Scruff, wants the aftermarket exhaust for $100. So, all total, I'm into the eng&trans for $650. A great deal I think.
Today we put in some new, well, not really new, seats. Tomorrow, I'll post a picture of the seats. The first one to guess the year /make/model they came from gets a free T-shirt. So, pay attention. - see you tomorrow. |

Re: No Limit '72 C-10
Ok, here it is. Now I told you they were used seats and I meant it. This should be an easy one to guess, with the original covers still on-sort of.
