Really sweet truck ya have there! hows it been running lately? what was the part# on the clutch kit your running? hydro or mechanical throwout bearing? which shifter cleared your seat? I'm also putting a 4 speed (super t10)behind a lq4 in a c20 and its great to hear what worked for the rest of you.

Actually, depending on what your looking for, i might be interested in selling this flywheel/clutch/tranny combo. its rated for 1000hp. Im thinking of going auto with here, better for the track, but manual is a ton of fun on the street.

Finally put her on the rollers today. It was impressive and scary all at the same time.
I was very happy.

Put down 738 RWHP & 700Torque

Yep still running isky 218 cam

I should be picking the 80 up from my tranny guy this week. Time to order up a converter and head back to the dyno for back to back results manual/auto with same tune.

Who are you going with for the converter? Circle D and Yank seem to be the go to guys for our kinda stuff, but I'll probably be giving rev max a try when that time comes. They seem to build a really nice (billet) converter that's reasonably priced as well...

I ordered a Hughes verter today. Single disk lockup 3000 stall. I had a bad experience with yank on my other truck.

Re: 71lsx-LWB**Build Thread**

Track pass yesterday ran 4 low 11 sec passes @130mph back to back Best was 11.0@131. Drove the truck 1.5hr to get there. Had issues controlling boost so I ran the lightest wg spring I had (tial's 5lb spring). Boost was all over the place. Time for a second gate and more consistent boost.

Launched on foot brake 2800 rpm @2lbs

My white GMC c2500...
It's turbo lq4. It went 11.67@116mph. On the Rollers it put out 500/560. I did s475 turbo t-4 housing. Spools fast and it a blast to drive. Put the transgo shift kit in the 80 and make sure you have the full float rear. I built custom "caltrac" type setup device to eliminate any wheel hop and gain some traction works awesome

Here is the build for more info http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...0-rclb-508917/
