That orange S-10 is cool. I'll have to get a few shots of the jeep rock crawler I made...

the blue 66 is a 2wd prerunner with handmade a-armsand coil springs - out of electric fence wire. it has an S-10 full interior w/dash and the 4.3 V6. the wheels and tires are off a 1/20th scale S-10.

orange crate re-issue. nice kit, but the resin hood doesnt fit. prewired distributor. one of my favorites.

66 GTO & 64 Super Duty

66 GTO (all vette underneath - except the engine), 63 Super Duty( has wired distributor)

shots of the 72 - you cant see it all because i am too stupid to figure out how to load bigger pics, but i added overflow rad tanks - they're just behind the grill, the silver things. cut the grill support out and the molded radiatior and generally tried to make it look as real as possible. it has color coded battery cables, spark plug wires, brake lines, rubber heater hoses and rad hoses. the white one is a 64 Z-16 destinied to be pearl white, but i have to have the front bumper rechromed. i didnt like the mold parting lines, so i cut them off. it has a LT-1/5 speed from the Impala SS and vette suspension in the front. lowered on 18" aftermarket wheels with big disc brakes.

any ideas why my pics are so small? like 3 inches wide at 72 dpi to get them under the 100KB limit. there are some really cool details you just cant see in the little pics.

Probably the hardest thing to do, for me. i had so much trouble getting it to sit like i wanted while gluing the suspension! whew! ou can kinda see it has ball point pin springs for the coil-overs. it was really fun to build. making the dents look believable it tough. the datsun above it is my tough truck racer that was the first attempt at dents and rust. rust i need to work on. the guys that do dioramas and such with realistic rust are amazing!

no need to be shy! i wanna see them all! trust me, not all my models come out nice. i dont airbrush, so all my paint is spray can. in person, some of them are a little rough on the finish side. but adding details is easy! got an old radio or other electronic device? there are your batt cables and brake lines! use the insulation off the wire for hoses. it's amazing what you can accomplish when you have no life! of course now that im married and bought a house, i havent worked on any for a while. gonna dig through the pile and see what i got!

Don't be affraid to show them. Everybody has to start somewhere. It too me many years to get to the level of building that I'm at now. The best way to help is check out local model shows. Most modelers love to talk about their stuff and give helpful hints. Everybody keep the pics coming, this is great...

that winnebago looks almost like the one from the blues brothers. now you need a black and white 74 monaco, and you'd be all set.

I noticed it about a week ago? I've tried e-mailing and calling the ISP, but no response? I think maybe they went under and failed to let me know.

I pulled out some of my old model the other week when I was in the garage. All of mine need some sort of repair to be displayable. I used to have them all on display. I'm thinking I may have to build some new ones to spruce the house up!

I can't remember seeing a dicast 73-80 model. Your best bet would probably be Ebay. There is a few 73-80's in plastic, but they are only short beds...
