I had the oppurtunity to buy a 72 GMC a few years back (before I bought my 72 Chevy) from the original owner and it was ochre with a white top. I am kicking myself for turning it away now. It was a 350/ 4 spd combo with only 117,000 original miles on it. It needed a bit of work, and I wasn't overly confident in myself doing the work back then so I passed it up. But for the $500 he was asking, I shoulda bought it!!

Talking WOW

Johnny,
I can't wait to see that truck cruising in Lincoln. If you ever see a fat guy chasing you down the street, it's just probably me. Please stop so I can get a look. Save me the heart attack. Truly one of the more spectacular restorations ever. Magazine worthy and a true homage to your grandfather. (I think that is who owned it right?) Anyway, he is sure to be there with you smiling all of the way.
Mark
