Re: Show your motor..73-87
Mine's not done yet
I still need to do all the machine work and put it together... But it will be a 355 with a Eagle crank, stock rods with arp bolts, Speed pro forged pistons, Comp xtreme4x4 cam, pro-form roller rockers, Holley street dominator intake, headers, and a Holley truck avenger 670 carb... Goin in my 86 K10 has 4.10 gears, 4 speed trans with 36" Super Swampers |

Re: Show your motor..73-87
That's some "really" nice work. Care to explain the process? Is that actually carved from a full billet. It appears to be cast that was machined, but it's hard to tell.

Re: Show your motor..73-87
The aircleaner weighed 40lbs when we started! The valve covers weighed 75lbs!
The oilpan was 200lbs! When finished the aircleaner was like 4, the valve covers were like 7lbs & the oilpan was like 15. Lots of chips! We make lots of one off machined parts, valve covers, aircleaners, medallions you name it. We have made some things for some vendors on this site also. |

Re: Show your motor..73-87
So those truly were carved from a single piece of billet. I'm impressed with the work. Do they have a gazillion hours of time in them?

Time & money! There is more money in that oil pan than most people have in their trucks!

Here's mine, not driving the truck anymore though. It's in the process of going through a resto as soon as I move it inside the shop, whenever that may be.....
