Well I only had time for a pic ln.

Going to move one jack over to the drum brake and jack it up, leaving the other jack to catch the control arm.

And I got a 16+lbs sledge off the nieghbour too.

The tool pic is after I straighten it out in a vise...

I assume when you are trying to release the balljoint the floor jacks are NOT supporting the a-arm?
Support you truck frame and let the a-arms hang.
Use the BFH to strike the spindle where the "x" is on both the front and back sides.

Looks like you've been beating on the a-arm. that won't do any good.
Keep at it,... you'll get it.

ya the two small jacks are an 1" off the control arms...

I think I should get it tonight....thanks for all the help guys.

WHAT A BATTLE....I got it!

I went back to the pickle forks...undid the two bolts holding the stering arm on and smashed the fork right at the ball joint boot.
One side got a small tear and the other came out un touched....
