Nice with the new wheels. What size are those wheels and tires? And where did you find them? I'm running the original 16 1/2" steel wheels (8 lug)...but it made my tire options very limited.

Wheels are 16X7 Ford van wheels. Got them from Partsgeek.com
Tires are Michelin LTX M/S2 265/75/16 from Discount Tire Direct.

Put some 1 inch coil spacers in the back to lift the ass end a little bit.

I am rebuilding my grandfathers 69, I must say the idea of the steel wheels is growing on me. Beautiful truck it looks like one that you might imagine just rooled off the showroom floor, is it a wood bed? I like your idea of removing the bed cover it would be a have to if it has a wood bed just my opinion.

No wood bed. I'm going to keep the tonneau cover on for this summer then over the winter have the bed caps repainted where the cover rubbed the paint off.
