Re: Revised: under bench seat for the first time?

I found a bunch of trash, the door key for the truck, and the little tag from dealerships that say the make model year color and all that stuff. A couple of old license plates some money, and some receipts from the previous owner.

Those receipts come in handy when you need to know what has been to do truck.(Assuming that they are repair bills)

No they are from tool rentals, but it has the guys name and address, might come in handy if I ever want to find out the trucks history.

Actually I met the guy once when I was a kid, me and my dad were at a video store and the guy seen us getting into the truck and mentioned to us he was the previous owner and told us to come to his house to get the tailgate. At the time I was a little kid so I didn't care so I was just messing around. But my dad did talk to him for awhile so he probably knows something, I never really asked or talked to him about it.

Re: Revised: under bench seat for the first time?

under my 79 sb i found piles of garbage, chip wrappers, and empty 20 ounce mountain dews. cleaned it out at the gas station when i bought it... under the trash I found the original dealer window sticker with all the options!

Put it on the seat next to me, buckled up and headed off for the ride home. Had the small triangle window open and once i hit 55 it made a perfect little draft to pull that sticker RIGHT out the window.

EDIT**

Just noticed its my first post here! Sorry guys been a bit of a lurcher the last year. But ill be around alot more now, my 79's going down and coming back up with new body panels, fresh paint, and a lr4/4l80 combo. Cant wait to share!

Bad? There is no word for the smell! I gutted everything and washed all metal with lysol to get rid of the smell.
Only interior pieces that I could save were the hard plastic , everything with fabric or foam had to go.

I had a set of base model plastic interior pieces that I used for the doors and a clean dash pad. Still no head liner or carpet.
