Re: Fatman, TCI, or Scotts IFS/Chassis on 49 AD

J, i didn't realize you guys were starting the build on the 22nd. I was under the impression it would be finished on the 22nd... glad your telling me this now. I'll have to redo my travel plans. With the brakes what is the smallest wheel that i can run? 15s? Are you thinking that those 17x8s wont work? I cant be the first guy to have this set up. Is there anybody I can contact to see what they ran?

Those wheels will place the tire .5" closer to the frame than the Revolver. The Revolver had more clearance on the inside than the outside. Worst case scenario you might end up with a 10mm spacer.

15" wheels are hit & miss with the 12" rotors. For delivery purposes we can leave the caliper off.

I was surprised myself when I heard talk of the paper work being turned in to accounting.

It looks great!! My dad will be there tomorrow to take a look at it. I unfortunately am at work until after the 1st. So I probably won't be able to pick it up until the second week of January.

If I am not busy when he gets here I'll tag along with Evan and get a pic with him & the chassis. You know, just to tease.

Thanks for the picture!!! You My dad was wondering where the red calipers were cause thats what he saw at the show back in the summer. I told him he could pay for the upgrade, if they allow the change. Is that a thing that Evan or you can make happen? If so how much is that package, my price list is at home.

What do you guys recommend for painting the frame?

$900 for 4 piston calipers on the existing rotors. $600 additional for the 12" Wilwood rotors with billet hubs (up front). Not a problem at all to change out before you pick it up.

J missed you by minutes. Got there at 1715 your 210 traffic sucks. The 2014 camaro wheels fit the back not the front which sucks. Hopefully I can recoup my costs. Your many ships are awesome!!!

Re: Fatman, TCI, or Scotts IFS/Chassis on 49 AD

Nice for sure. Bummed the rear didn't fit either so now I'm running drive all the way around without brakes in the rear.!!☹ but the engine went in nice and easy the bed too once I took the wheels off. Need to find some headers or manifolds. But man those welds are nice and I use to do cages. Finish work very nice.

Getting down to business already, I like it. I'm going to talk with Rich from Magnaflow next week at MPMC about their headers. We always hoped they were going to mass produce them for us.
