Good choice Chris, I like the 20's in the front better.

Re: Bowtie468's Extreme '68 BuildPage

This truck is amazing! I just looked through the entire build and the only negative I thought about was that you should have done 20's up front. Looks perfect now. Seriously, beautiful truck!

Because of the size of the light, the inner panel had to be cut out to get it mounted in place. It's pretty unnoticeable when it's off, but when you hit the brakes, it's impossible not to notice it ! In the last picture, you can see the acrylic lens protruding past the surface of the sheet metal. This lens was blocked down to match the contour of the cab panel, but not so much as to make it flush with the panel. It actually needs to wind up flush with the basecoat, which wasnt on yet. And let me stress that they dont sand too easily ! This was a bit tricky as you dont want to pile on basecoat to make it flush. A little more work than i thought, but the end result was well worth it !!
What grit did you block it down with?

NICE! Looking forward to you detailing the install and your feedback on how it goes!

Have you been able to put many miles on it since you "finished" it?

a courser grit such as 60-80 is needed to cut the acrylic lenses down to the metal. After that, just block with the body as you normally would.

Nothing to write home about. Its got around 1300 troublefree miles on the odometer. Still a fresh build if I decide to flip it
