There hasn't been any indication that they have any plans to produce them. You could always call Eagle and ask them.

I would hope that they would produce more 20's to fill the back orders that many of us are waiting on before thinking about any new sizes.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

I talked to them on friday, there is good news!

The next batch of grey center 20" are expecting to hit the warehouses within the next week or two. And the even better news is for the people who ordered chrome 20's a few front 20x8.5 wheels have been located and they are working on getting those ready to ship as well.

Happen to know if I'll be one of the lucky recipients?

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

I ordered 20x10 and 20x8.5 Grey finish on Thursday and the 10"s came into the store on Friday from the local warehouse in Chino Ca. I was told that the 20x8.5 were still a week or two away as of thursday (but hope you guys are right that they are landing now !)I didn't get them thru the group buy because as I was shopping tires and the asst manager (Javier) at my local American tire in Fullerton met the price and since he showed me some Love on mounting and balancing I went that route.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Got mine in this past week - thanks again to Sublvr72. I still have to get the nose on my rotors turned down, but that's not a big deal considering the discount we all got.

cell phone pics are kinda crappy, but you get the idea.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

I need to know if the 18's are available right now? If they are, I'm thinkin about cancelling my order for the 20's and just getting the 18's. Also, would I need a different caliper for 1" rotors if mine are currently 1.25"?? I know I need a different spindle, but not sure on the caliper? If so, where can I get them?

Planning on ordering new spindles and rotors anyways, and was under the impression if you use 1.25" rotors you have to grind down the end of the hub AND run a spacer, and with 1" all you have to do is grind the end of the hub. (For the 18" wheels)

With 1" rotors, it's just bolt on and go. For the -3 revision 20" rims with 1.25" rotors only, you either grind OR use spacers, not both. But 18" (and 20" -2 revision) rims with 1.25" rotors require more work as you suggested, at least until they get revised like the 20s, which now doesn't sound likely.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Hmmm, could have sworn I read a thread where a guy mounting his 18's had to machine his hub on the side AND the front, and then had to cut an 1/8" off the spindle. (1.25" rotor) If that's all I have to do is grind the hub and cut a little bit off the clips of the caps, I'll probably be getting the 18's for sure.

Do you know if I have to run a different caliper with a 1" rotor though?

With 60+ pages of posts about these wheels just between this thread and the other, it's easy to get confused.

What round was your order in? If it was the third, it said in the first post at the time you ordered (now edited to say GB is over) that it could be 60-90 days before the wheels would ship.

Not now it doesn't, as I already acknowledged in my post above. It did while the group buy was still going on, however, and it stated a possible 60-90 wait time as production caught up with demand.

All you had to do was read. It was there from the beginning of round three until I changed the text on May 26.

Dang it!
I was hoping the GB would last a few more weeks... just until Sam got off his lazy bum and sends me my money.
My turd was gonna sparkle! Now it's just gonna have to remain- well...turdy

You can still purchase through Sublvr72's website, which is linked in the first post.

correct, the wheels are still up on the website and the prices didn't go up too much. Just a couple bucks to make it worth my while. I ended up spending a lot more time on this GB then I thought I would have to.

This is correct. With 1.25 rotor you will need to taper the front of the spindle to match the bore of the wheel plus run a small spacer to get the cap to fit or modify the cap. I have the -2 18's installed on my 67. I believe on the original post it is explained in great detail. You can cut the spindle to help with clearance for the cap but I choose not to cut the spindle and have a small spacer made to fit cap on.
