Sorry Shawn, the corvette thing got past me but as long as the booster is working it sounds like line pressure problem. The corvette was usually 4 piston calipers on all four corners. Do ya know someone you can borrow a stock truck master w/ discs/drum combo to try out. I'm just wondering if the vette had different pressure requirements

I was thinking that the Corvette master would be overkill if anything. Should squeeze those calipers with no problem. I'm thinking that maybe the booster is the issue. I noticed on the O'Reilly website that the corvette booster is a dual diaphragm.

I would think the stock booster would work with the vette master but now I'm not sure. I'm sure the booster is still working or you would hear the vacuum under the dash when brakes are applied or run funny. Only I can think of is the master isn't making the pressure you need. You're getting good pressure when bleeding correct?

Truck is looking sharp man, nice work! So them spindles are a 2-1/2" drop, plus a 3" spring??? What size rubber on there?

Actually the pressure is ok but not super great. Not bad enough to cause concern.

Thank you!! Yes 2.5" spindles and 3" springs. Tires are P215/70R15 up front and P235/75R15 out back.

Well Shawn, I'm at a loss, the only thing I can think of is the master. Trucks run one large piston and vettes four small pistons. I would try a truck power master and see how that changes things.

The booster is working good so either I need a different master or a bigger booster........I think

Thanks! If you get a chance, snap a picture of the ground clearance at the a-arms. I'm banking on a 4-1/2" advertised drop (2-1/2 + 2) and 235/60's working for me.

Well it's not a very good pic but I hope it helps. I would say the LCA's are about 2.5" off the ground.

Hey Shawn, your truck is looking great. Nice job on the suspension, how does it ride now? I did a similar setup and my 1967 GMC longbed truck, rode like it was on rails going around corners.

Thanks Scott. The truck rides so much better with the correct lowering springs. Not quite on rails but much stiffer through the turns

I will probably install the rear air bags this weekend

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Lol, I guess any upgrade of suspension I would say was like riding on rails when I did my suspension. I had the death wooble going on, you know when you only was going change one lane and your truck decides it wants to change two and the only way to make it quit wobbling was to drive faster... Lol. Nice work, looks great.

Yikes! I'd theoretically be 1/2" or so higher but that's probably pretty nominal. It's going to be low and I sure can't say the same about our streets up here. Thanks for photo man!

I'll take an exact measurement in the morning.
