I dunno. Have not had the chance to enjoy all the hard labor yet. You understand I'm sure.

Yep. Just don't think I can do it. He went as far as to ask me to paint the inside of the bed instead of doing liner. He told me to sleep on it and get back with him. The truck would be sent to Cali and that would suck cause we need more in Texas!

Not yet!! Once it is finished it would bring that, plus some, and I would be able to enjoy it for a little while too. The guy told me to keep his number and call him when, and if, I decide to sell it.

Man, he's finally got something custom that nobody else has( the whole truck in my opinion) and he's thinking about selling? Great looking truck. Hope you get to enjoy it for at least a little while.

Thanks for the (custom) compliments! Not really thinking about selling it yet, I do want to enjoy it a little before I make that mistake!! Sidenote: The guy who won second place in the entire show owns a 68 Chevelle SS 396.........that he BOUGHT about a month ago, and 2 weeks ago I had to help him start it to get it home because the positive battery cable was just layin on top of the battery post. Sometimes more money than sense is a shame.

And more expensive and expensive! The lines will only look good for about 8 months if I'm lucky. Clearcoating them may be an option.....what do you think?

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

I've had only decent success with a spray clear as sometimes they yellow or make the part cloudy...

You COULD just sell it when it comes time to buff them again

"Should" be fine...since it looks like they're on the frame most of the way but I guess it'll have to wait till you get them in to be sure.

Really worried about buying and then they don't fit. I'll have to see what the return policies are for em before I purchase.

It is a great offer, but only if I finish it off how he wants it. His ideas were good and probably what I would have done anyway. Wish we could all travel around and see each others rides, maybe one day!

The Parts Gods smiled on me today! Shiney things! Couldn't wait for the prop valve so I went ahead and istalled it.

Bling..... Thanks dude! It made it a little brighter under the hood for sure. Now for the prop valve, plumbing, calipers, and rotors. Still need to buy some slotted drilled rotors.

Just wanted to say wow. Your truck is amazing, and your work is very impressive.

I haven't been on the site in a long time because I have no idea when I will actually get a chance to work on my 69, but after seeing this thread I'm going to have to have a conversation with my wife about making it a priority. It's been in my family for about 26 years, but unfortunatley it has been in a shed at my step-dad's farm for the last 12.

Thanks Olin! I hope you get the chance to pull out the vintage and start workin on it. Talk to the misses and include her in the fun, it always draws a huge crowd when the ladies get involved! Thanks for your compliments and please save that 69! The payoff is huge in the end, I am almost there and it is worth every minute....and dollar! I'm really excited at this point. More pics soon.......
